Check out the new look! http://www.aroriginals.com/
Just finished printing the AR Originals Logo for the new website. I only had to add a touch of paint. Check back for the website’s new look!
Nove is an entire town of ceramic shops about 30 min away of Venice. This shop is VBC Ceramics, and they make ceramics for Neiman Marcus, Pottery Barn, Tiffanys, William Sonoma, etc. This was just Round One! Until Monday… Arrivederci!
Kinder Eggs are delicious little Italian desserts that have a toy on one side and Ferrero chocolate on the other. It’s too bad the US has banned them as choking hazards. Kinder Gelato is delicious too! Until tomorrow… Arrivederci!
Now I know that the photos look peaceful and beautiful, but this hike was GRUESOME! However, if Hubs can handle Potteryland, I guess I can handle the Italian Alps. My favorite part of the hike was the restaurant with the yummy soup and refreshing beer! My least favorite part of the hike was when we finished the mountain hike, and we still had to walk 8 miles to get back to the hotel back up another mountain. Until tomorrow… Arrivederci!
We stayed at Hotel Paradiso while we were up North near Bolzano. The town is called Seiser Alm, but don’t expect to find it on a GPS. The hotel is run by a local family, and they do a great job at making you feel that you are right at home. The food was good, and the views are incredible. Until tomorrow… Arrivederci!
We traveled to a little German town….. but, we never left Italy. After driving north for about 10 hours, we made it to Bolzano. We aren’t exactly tired of Italy, but it was sure nice to have a change of scenery and cuisine. For lunch we have delicious sausage, bean salad, and roasted potatoes at Blue Moon Restaurant. On our little detour to the hotel (we were 100% lost) we stumbled upon this magical lake. The water sparkled like a perfect crystal. What a find!!!! (Hubs and Lago Di Carezza.) Until tomorrow… Arrivederci!
Well, we joined the thousands of other tourists and explored Venice. It’s neat to see, but probably only once. I enjoyed St. Mark’s Square because I just finished the new Dan Brown book where it is described. The photos are of all the major tourist spots. I’m sure you can guess each one! Until Monday… Arrivederci!
We stumbled upon this great little restaurant off the tourist beaten path. Our appetizer was an olive and cheese flan. WOW! Mamma Mia! We each had a daily special. I had the Prawn and Zucchini Pasta, and Hubs had the Mussel Pasta. Both delicious! For dessert we shared the Chocolate Mint Panna Cotta. This restaurant was the best thing about Venice because it wasn’t packed with tourists! Until tomorrow… Arrivederci!
There is so much history to see at the Archeological Museum. Get ready to spend a good couple of hours! Almost all of the mosaics and frescoes from Pompeii are now housed in the museum. I have many more photos if anyone is interested. Until tomorrow… Arrivederci!
